What is a reasonable price to have an old pendulum clock wind up repair?
This watch is a wind with a dome cover old clock key table, which needs to be cleaned, oiled and adjusted the suspension cable replaced by the pendulum in motion, my first appointment is 250.00, this seems high for me, but I know nothing about clocks.Can anyone tell me if this is reasonable or high?
It also sounds high to me. I have a mantel clock that is clean each year for $ 50. When he had maintained (replaced suspension cable and some other parties), which was only $ 100 more.
